Capture a job while you browse, then use NextStep beside the application. Install the extension on a desktop browser and connect it to your NextStep account.
The Chrome Web Store listing is pending review. This download works now for Chrome and Edge. Edge Add-ons has not been submitted yet.
What happens next
Add the extracted folder to Chrome or Edge.
Click the NextStep icon, choose “Sign in,” then confirm it shows Connected.
Open a job posting and click the icon to use the side panel.
Manual installation
These steps use the downloaded zip above. A desktop computer is required.
chrome://extensions in Chrome and turn on Developer mode.manifest.json. Do not select the zip file.manifest.json.edge://extensions in Edge and turn on Developer mode.On a work or school device, an administrator may block Developer mode or manual extensions. Ask your administrator if those controls prevent installation.
After installing, click the pinned NextStep icon and choose Sign in. The extension opens the NextStep website. Sign into your account there and verify your email if asked. Return to the extension icon and confirm it shows Connected before using it on a job page. If the side panel asks you to sign in, use its button there.
Reload your open NextStep and job-page tabs, then click the extension icon again. For a manual update, remove the old unpacked copy at your browser’s extensions page and load the newly extracted folder. Keep only one NextStep copy enabled.
Check that NextStep is enabled in your browser’s extensions page and that you are signed into the website in the same browser. If the extension asks you to sign in, use its button again. If a managed browser blocks installation, contact your administrator.
